Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Trough mobile application ("the app"). By using Trough, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Trough is a personal health tracking application that allows you to log TRT (Testosterone Replacement Therapy) protocols, daily wellness check-ins, bloodwork, supplements, and related health data. The app provides pharmacokinetic (PK) curve visualizations, trend analysis, and wellness insights.

2. Not Medical Advice

Trough does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All data, insights, PK curves, Protocol Scores, and recommendations are for informational and personal tracking purposes only. They should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.

• PK curves are mathematical estimates based on published pharmacokinetic parameters. Actual blood levels vary significantly between individuals.
• Protocol Scores are self-reported wellness indicators, not clinical measurements.
• Bloodwork reference ranges are general guidelines. Consult your physician for interpretation of lab results.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your medication or protocol.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Trough. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: Daily check-in, Protocol Score, streak tracking, HealthKit sync, and basic insights are free forever.
• Pro subscription: PK curves, full trend history, bloodwork tracking, weekly reports, GLP-1/peptide analytics, and AI-powered insights require a paid subscription.
• Free trial: New users may receive a 14-day free trial of Pro features. The trial begins when you subscribe through the App Store.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in iOS Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until then.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance and must agree to the new price to continue.

6. Your Data

• You own your health data. We do not claim ownership of any data you enter into the app.
• You can export your data at any time (CSV or PDF).
• You can delete your account and all data from Settings.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Create accounts for the purpose of abusing free trials
• Share your account with others

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Trough is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that PK calculations will be accurate for your individual physiology. Use of the app is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trough and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health decisions made based on app data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
